Kaitybean On Fashion
Scene: Our house this morning as we were getting ready to go to a baptism.
Kaitybean: Wow, Mom. We must have different tastes. I would never wear those tights. Not ever.
Me: Oh yeah? I love them.
Kaitlyn: Well, I might wear them if someone paid me, like, 20 bucks. But I'd never wear them of my own accord.
*Chuckle*

that is how Anika and I are already, I have told her it is okay to like different things, and we do not beat about the bush when we find a different cloth opinion. More then once I have had something on and she has said things like :I don't think it is pretty but you do so you should wear it. But I say the same thing so it is fine, I hope this will help her as a teen and in not being fake to friends.
I think the best part of this whole post, is that what I find funny isn't her take on fashion, it's that she said "of my own accord." What 12 year old says that?
