Motherhood and writing don't mix
Doodle dee doodle, I used to write poetry,
articles, stories and plots for the stage.
Now, faced with bills, diapers, dishes and carpools
I'm lucky if I ever turn out a page.
There's magic in the everyday when we slow our pace and open our eyes and take the time to look for it.

I can totally relate. Glad you've joined our poetry group!
p.s. My hubby is also a ginormous Mac bigot!
*grin*
But pretty soon, those babies will be raised, you'll have time to do the writing again, and you'll have such a fab family to be proud of.
You're so right. Thanks for the reminder.
Ditto for fatherhood. Good thing we mix it anyway.
